While the surrounding towns of Vail and Beaver Creek seem to be full of store windows sporting signs telling patrons they will “be back in the summer”, quite the opposite is true for Edwards. As a mountain town with a significant year-round population, Edwards continues with business as usual AND a few great specials.
Locals enjoy April and May for a multitude of reasons. The weather allows for mountain bike trails and restaurant patios to open. Just about every store (especially those with ski gear) is having a sale. And in our humble opinion the most important bulletin, restaurants have killer dining specials. Some see April and May as an “in-between” season where everything gears down but locals and savvy travelers know it’s really a season for dining out and rejoicing as the high country thaws out.
Here are just a few specials you can enjoy right now:
Have you a penchant for patio dining?
The Rose has the perfect spring menu full of salads, share plates and creative cuisine like avocado fries and ahi tuna tostadas.
Main Street Grill serves up comfort food done right. Grab a giant burger, meatloaf or even some creole jumbalaya.
How about a trip down the road to Avon?
